Numeric is the creator of Never Forgive Action, a movement he imagined and implemented in the summer of 2004. After being amongst the thousands of people waiting for Talib Kweli to hit the stage during Common’s Electric Circus tour, Numeric was amazed by the energy of the patient crowd that cheered along to banger after banger of classic hip-hop being served by the DJ. Imagine a night where it was nothing but golden age anthems for hours?
Never Forgive Action has grown from a monthly dance party to a movement with the introduction of Hip-Hop Karaoke Toronto on February 2007 as well as collaborations with Stones Throw, Milk, Cyberkrib and Random Play.
Numeric, having only started his hand at mixing records when NFA came to light, is also trying his hand at music production. He was the Art Director and hip-hop journalist for Exclaim! magazine for seven years and is currently a freelance graphic designer. Though his first love will always be classic hip-hop, you can also hear him spin funk, soul and electronic jams outside of the NFA realm.
